Being a mother is a full time job. You cannot run from it, hide from it, or go on a trip and forget the kids exist. Being a mother is inside you. I believe God made us with the desire of creating a small beings inside: to be fruitful, it is a gift. It is so precious that even after 9 long months of changing shape, morning sickness, mood swings, back aches, and stretch marks - all that shadows when we hear our baby cry, moments after being born। Sleepless nights follow after that and still we love that precious creature. We look at their faces and wonder who they will look like, for us they are the most precious little human in the universe. We place love and hope in their existence; our lives are forever changed.

These are wise thoughts on motherhood. It has no boundries, takes no vacations, and never ends. When our children are small we feel so so confident and complet! We can and must realize the simple needs of our little ones with experimental perfection. We love them with all the passion and arrogance of youth. Yet, as they grow older, our powerful hands fall helplessly back to our sides. We search the heavens for answers to bewidering scenarious, for which we find ourselves naive and unprepaired. Our faith is the shadow to which we kneel, perplexed. In the words of Alice Walker, "We mothers and grandmothers have, more often than not anonymously, handed on the creative spark, the seed of the flower they themselves never hoped to see -- or like a sealed letter they could not plainly read". Our children are the seed of our creative spark, handed humbly back to God. http://www.widflowersltd.
